What we offer
The club has an extensive sporting clays range with stations located all around the club property.
Sporting clays practice is generally available Sundays by appointment.
There are sanctioned events held throughout the year, details of which are always posted in the clubhouse and announced in the newsletter.
The National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA) is a governing organization for the game of sporting clays. Shooters can become members, and work their way up their classification system by attending registered events. WSA hosts 4-5 registered shoots a year. Bringing in shooters from around New England. However, all shooters - not just NSCA members - are welcome at these events.
Sporting Clay shoots include a main event, which is 100 targets throughout the woods and fields. The kitchen provides a delicious lunch, and then the afternoon has smaller Sub-gauge events. Shooters attempt 50 targets, using a 20 gauge, 28ga, 12ga, .410 bore, a pump, and/or a side-by-side shotgun
